Baton Rouge, LA – Dreamtime Marketing, LLC is a boutique marketing agency slated to open on April 1, 2020, at 6513 Perkins Road, across from Pennington Biomedical Research Center. The agency will serve small businesses and solo entrepreneurs with a holistic approach to marketing, communications, and public relations.
Dreamtime Marketing, LLC is the brainchild of Hope Himel-Benson, a licensed clinical social worker with a successful communications and marketing career in the healthcare, legal, and nonprofit sectors. Sparked by the knowledge that many small businesses and solo entrepreneurs do not have the benefit of a marketing and communications team, Himel-Benson decided to launch her own independent business to fill the gap.
“I am a self-professed information and resource junkie, Himel-Benson stated. Personally and professionally, I am most fulfilled when helping others connect to solutions that meet their needs and achieve their goals.”
Dreamtime Marketing, LCC is different from traditional marketing agencies as it was founded upon core tenants and values of Himel-Benson’s professional social work and case management background. The values of individualization, self-determination, and integrity throughout the helping process guide her work in supporting every client to reach their business goals and ultimately fulfill their own dreams.
“For years I served clients of nonprofit and healthcare agencies as a licensed clinical social worker,” Himel-Benson shared. Around 2003, I also stepped in to support the same agencies with their website content, marketing, and social media management as they could not afford to hire outside assistance.”
In 2009, one of those agencies offered her the opportunity to become their first full-time marketer. This proved to be a life-changing and rewarding opportunity to live out her passion for helping others find and connect to much-needed information and resources in a different manner.
Prior to launching Dreamtime Marketing, LLC, Himel-Benson served as the Communications Director, for The Carpenter Health Network, a provider of post-acute healthcare services in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. In her role, she was responsible for successfully implementing internal and external communications, public relations, branding, advertising, commercials, collateral, promotions, online reputation management, and all websites and social media outlets.
